Founders Weekend brings together residents and visitors for food, music, traditions, and family-friendly fun in the heart of the Berkshires—highlighting the best of what makes our community special.

Friday, Sep 18

  2. 8:00 PMFireworks DisplayKick off the weekend with a spectacular evening show—bring a blanket and enjoy!

Saturday, Sep 19

  1. 10:00 AMWildcat Main Street MileA high-energy race through downtown that launches a full day of festivities.
  2. Immediately following the MileFounders Hometown ParadeFloats, performers, and community pride take over Main Street in this signature tradition.
  3. TBDAntique Fire Truck ShowA family favorite featuring beautifully restored engines and historical vehicles.
  4. TBDChildren’s ActivitiesPark & Athletic Field. A full day of family fun—from performers and magicians to interactive activities and obstacle courses.
  5. TBDClassic Car ShowVintage vehicles from across the region, paired with live music from the Lucky Bucket Band.
  6. TBDCraft & Vendor FairLee Town Park. Handmade goods, local products, and community organizations.
  7. TBDHistoric Church ToursExplore the history and architecture of Lee’s historic Congregational Church.
  8. TBDLive Music & Cultural PerformancesFeaturing the Adamsville Ancients, Berkshire Rhythm Keepers, and additional regional performers.

Sunday, Sep 20

  1. TBDAnnual Rubber Duck RaceHousatonic River. A playful finale to the weekend—cheer on your duck in this quirky and beloved tradition.
  2. TBDCornhole TournamentA friendly (and competitive!) community tournament where teams go head-to-head in a classic lawn game showdown. Spectators welcome—bring your best cheering voice.
  3. TBDDog ParadeA joyful and growing tradition featuring costumes, community spirit, and plenty of four-legged fun as participants parade from Church Park to the Athletic Field.
